碘化丙啶（Propidium Iodide，PI）是一種可對DNA 染色的細(xì)胞核染色試劑。它是一種溴化乙啶的類似物，在嵌入雙鏈DNA 后釋放紅色熒光。PI 不能穿透完整細(xì)胞膜，但對凋亡晚期細(xì)胞和死細(xì)胞的破損細(xì)胞膜能夠穿透，并使細(xì)胞核紅染。PI 經(jīng)常被用來與Calcein-AM 或者FDA 等熒光探針一起使用，能同時對活細(xì)胞和死細(xì)胞染色。PI-DNA 復(fù)合物的激發(fā)和發(fā)射波長分別為535 nm 和615 nm。常用于流式細(xì)胞儀分析和顯微鏡觀察，檢測細(xì)胞凋亡(apoptosis)或細(xì)胞壞死(necrosis)。
本產(chǎn)品為PI 水溶液，濃度為1mg/ml。使用時根據(jù)實驗不同直接將本產(chǎn)品用相應(yīng)溶液稀釋到工作濃度。
